Cold Weather Situation
Latest news from the polytunnels is that all the plants are frozen in their pots. I will not be shipping any orders in the present conditions for 2 reasons. The first being that, as I ship plants "bare rooted" to save on postage costs, trying to prise frozen soil from their roots is not going to do the plants any good at all. The second reason being that post was not collected from our local post office today because of the condition of the roads, making it is impossible to predict how long your order will be in transit. Therefore, any orders received will be put to one side and shipped as soon as things improve, i.e. daytime temperatures rise above freezing and the roads are useable again. I hope you with bear with me - we got through the postal strike so I'm sure we can get through this! In the meantime, I'm busy working on the new catalogue which will be finished in the next week or two (or even sooner if I can't do anything outside!).
